Rosée D’Hibiscus is a delicate wheat beer with a floral and lightly acidic character. Its beautiful pink colour comes from the hibiscus flowers used in the brewing process. A perfumed aroma invokes fresh pink grapefruit and the pleasing texture persists nicely. A refreshing, quenching ale perfect for hot summer days & nights.

I have only had a few Dieu Du Ciel brews before, and they were all excellent. This is a brand new one to me. A Belgian Wheat Ale brewed with hibiscus flowers does sound quite original. Here is my review:
A: Pours a real hazy reddish pink. Head is rather minimal with no lacing to speak of. Some carbonation is present. Looks quite similar to Bud Chelada, which would turn many BAs stomachs.
S/T: The aroma is very wheaty with a unique fruityness component in there. I am not sure what a hibiscus flower is sopposed to smell like, so I can't make a comparison there. The taste is okay, but not nearly as unique as one might expect. It is very fruity upfront. Similar to a raspberry or other dark berries. Somewhat acidic as well. There is also a decent amount of wheat and yeast in there. Much more fruity than a typical Belgian Wheat, with less emphasis on the spice. Let this one warm up a little to get more of a floral presence.
M/D: Mouthfeel seems a little heavier than a typical Wheat Ale. Carbonation is a little prickly in the mouth. Slightly refreshing. This would be a nice beer to sip on during an early spring afternoon, when everything is starting to go in bloom.
This is definetly a unique beer. The hibiscus flower gives this beer a unique acidic and fruity component, while mingling well with the typical Belgian wheatyness. Well worth seeking out just to try.

Pours a dark pink color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. No discernable aroma. Taste is tangy with a spicy bite. Crisp and dry. An interesting brew.

341 ml bottle, from a Quebecois co-worker. ABV is 5.9%. Pinkish colour, slightly hazy. Very small and shortlived off-white head. Fairly strong wheaty, floral and fruity aroma, notes of lemons and hibiscus, hints of spices. Medium sour and lemony flavour, very refreshing. Mild spices in the finish.

Pours a very cool reddish pink/deep pink colour. Not a big head but left lacing when it dissipated.
Smells super cool. A ton going on here from spicy floral notes to citrus and tropical fruit. Very interesting.
Taste follows the nose led by spice, acid, herbal notes, citrus fruit, pomegranate, and passionfruit.
The mouthfeel is nice and the carbonation is done well on this.
Overall this is a pretty cool beer. Nice refreshing zap with an interesting complex flavour. Has some acid kind of like a weird wild ale but this is a beer done well. Not my personal taste but very cool.

Freshness and great for a summer day. Beautiful bottle, unconventional colour, fruity and for those who search for something different.
The feel is acid, but to an adequate level.

If I could describe this with one sentence, I'd say, "a very gentle, muted but rather refreshing bouquet of liquid".
There. In fact I have said it.
A beautiful nose follows a rose pour, with an attractive head. Seems to be missing something, not sure what it is, but it is still worth the admission. The feel leaves your throat a bit uncomfortable - dry and a bit tight, but perhaps I am slightly allergic to something within, so it could just be me.

L- Pours a clear, beautiful deep pink (Rosee) topped by a 1/4 finger white head that dissipates to a ring around the perimeter of the glass. Light lacing.
S- Spicy and floral with a hint of grapefruit. Quite complex as it seems like I get something a bit different every time I stick my nose in the glass.
T- Incredibly delicate taste of hibiscus, a slight wheat tang, and a little citrus zing. Leaning a bit toward the sweet side but not overly so.
F- Medium body with light effervescence. Incredibly refreshing.
O- One of the more unique beers I've had the chance to try and a very, very good one at that. Delicate but delicious flavours and aroma with a refreshing body.

11.2oz bottle: this one pours a clear, rose wine color. There was about no head or lacing on it. Floral nose with a hint of wheat in the background. Nice flavor. Faint wheat, flavors from the hibiscus, and a very faint tartness in the background. Nice.
