On draught at WVRST for the DDC party. Into a tulip.
Hazy milky yellow, white head with good retention and lacing. Nose of wheat, Belgian yeast, light spicing and citrus. Quite complex, and delightful given the size of this beer. Taste has more light wheat character, pale malts, citrus zest and some yeasty/phenolic flavours. Perhaps a bit of banana and spice. Medium carbonation and fairly light body. Fantastic how much flavour was packed into this beer. Refreshing and something I wish I could imbibe more often.

Hazy and super pale in colour almost like a wit, one finger of rocky white head and lots of lace here. Smell is all belgian yeast, light funky notes from it, light spice and some mild hop presence there as well. Taste follows the nose with belgian yeast with light funky flavours coming from it, halfway through malt comes into play, a fair bit of spice in finish and aftertaste as well. Medium carbonation, light-medium body and quite light overall. For something so low in ABV it delivers on flavour in a big way, something I could see myself drinking several times over if given the opportunity.

Draft: Poured a light dirty beige color ale with a small foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral hoppy notes with light funky yeast notes with light rustic malt notes. Taste is also a complex mix between some rustic malt with notes of floral hops with dry notes and some light funky yeast. Body is quite full with good carbonation. A wonder of taste and refreshing notes with minimal ABV – this is something I would like to see more of.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. The first of five very good beers here. This one is delightfully crafted. Very good drinkability, a thin crown head. Subtle yeast, lightly sweet, lacey. Nice Belgian taste with some fruitiness.I wish this was in Toronto on tap all day every day, I would transition people over by the boatload.
