From Labirratorium. In Teku glass. Playing Broken Age. Citrusy and clean, with sweet and metallic notes and adequate bitterness. Not bad but fairly mediocre

So this is currently the highest rated IPA in Canada. A bit of an East coast classic.

Hazy deep gold in color with reasonable head but minimal lacing.

Nose is cirtrus rind, pine and spicy both hop and yeast spice.

The nose did not lie as the taste follows this profile with a light sweet maltiness making this very well balanced.

Hazy, deep gold Brew. Thick didn't head that leaves tons of lacing. Scent is citrus and pine with some sweetness. The taste is super fruity and delicious with a nice pine finish. On tap is the best way to enjoy this. What a great beer.

Pours straw yellow with stable off white head and good lacing. Aroma sweet fruitiness under a dominant but not overwhelming grapefruit. Flavours of toffee and dried fruit and the ever present grapefruity NA hop but more complex and layered than usual. Good mouthfeel.

Snagged at my local LCBO (Summerhill in Toronto, just giving a shout out) and pured into a tulip.\

I have to admit to a little bias here, Die Du Ciel is my favourite Canadian brewery, making a brew in one of my favorite styles. Okay, down to brass tax: This brew pours a phenomenal cloudy yellow. It's unfiltered, gorgeous, and everything I could ask for. The scent is subtle pine and citurs, and not as 'in your face' as other IPAs I've noticed from the Canadian craft brew scene (keeping it PC here and saying there's absolutely nothing wrong with that).
It's light and airy on the mouth and honestly, quite quaffable, even though that might be toeing a dangerous line at the 6.9 ABV mark.

Overall, one of my favorite brews, and a go-to any time I can find it at my local LCBO.

Hazy yellow gold with white frothy head. Aromas of grapefruit, pine and resin. Flavour follows suit with assertive bitterness. Malt sweetness balances well with the hop level. Earthy hop aftertaste. Perfect carbonation. Quite sessionable

Pours to give a hazy, pale orange body with loads of just off white head. The aroma carries mango, pineapple, strong citrus fruits along with some metallic elements from hops. The taste carries the immediate bitter taste of grapefruit rind, leading into some more light fruits and floral tones in the middle finished with a bitter pop of hops at the finish. The feel is smooth and velvety, with a slight prickly carbonation and a decent lasting effect on the citrus taste. Really nice IPA, would recommend it as a top in Quebec.

Golden with a light haze, lots of carbonation, topped with 3 fingers of off white head.

Citrus, pine, caramel, pineapple, and a hint of Belgian yeast.

Citrus, pine, caramel, pineapple, light sweetness, grapefruit pith, light fruitiness, and hints of floral.

Medium, slightly syrupy body, little carbonation. There's a slightly balancing dryness.

Got in St. Jerome yesterday, drank Sept 26th, 2016 in Sainte- Hippolyte, Quebec. Glad to have found this brew. A really unique but solid example for the style.
