Another dismal appearance of a beer, thin straw yellow with slightly more density than water. Aroma, corn. Whats all this co2 bite stuff about?

Taste, corn and water. I think I can discern some lager yeast from this one. It was a warm day in Vegas, but even this wasn't very thirst quenching. Thankfully, there weren't any massive off flavors or style hoodwinks like the ipa had, but nonetheless, completely uninspired and trying to get some BMC light love is where they went with this one. Coors light is vastly better.

On-tap at The Mirage in Las Vegas, NV on 8/16/07.

A: The beer is a light gold color with a medium off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is of light malts, corn and a little hops.

T: The taste is dominated by a heavy corn flavor. There’s a mild hops presence which is pretty decent for the style. The malt character is light. The after-taste is slightly bready.

M: Crisp and smooth, light body, medium-to-heavy carbonation, clean finish.

D: Tasty, goes down easily, not filling at all, the kick is a little to light for my taste and the corn flavor both make the beer lacking as far as being one that I would want to drink for a whole evening, but for the style it’s not bad.

Served on tap at Sin City Brewing (Venetian) in Las Vegas, NV

A: Pours a light golden yellow in color with some moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall white head that slowly reduces to a thick layer covering the entire surface of the beer (about 40% the size of the original head). Moderate lacing is observed.

S: An overall mild aroma with some notes of corn and grassy hops.

T: The taste is similar to the smell, with the dominant flavor being the corn malt sweetness. There is a light hop presence that balances out the sweetness.

M: Light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Crisp and smooth.

O: Very easy to drink and very refreshing. Definitely a sessionable beer with the lighter flavors and lower ABV. Not one of my favorite styles but I wanted to sample it while I was here.

Very weak straw yellow appearance, lighter than your average AAL light beer. Real corn syrup and water aroma going on.

More of that in the taste. Didn't satiate my desire for flavor country. Hit the lager yeast note. Its a light beer for people who want to pay more for something BMC actually does better.

Poured on tap at the bar in the Venetian. The beer has a thin, sparse foamy head. The coloring of the beer was very bright and bold. Scent was lightly barley, and there was barley in the flavor, as well. High carbonation, but not so high as to make it unpleasant. A very light and crisp beer, it was reminiscent of Heineken. A tasty beer, and it would be wonderfully consumed on hot days spent outdoors.

Appearance: clear light yellow in color with a one finger head that falls immediately.

Smell: None.

Taste: typical light beer with little malt base, hint of bitterness, and little flavor. Blandness abounds here.

Mouthfeel: light crispness at the start and finish. Light in body.

Drinkability: dull and boring. Stick with the stout for a nice beer with some flavor. Clearly this is brewed for the masses that drink Bud Lite or Coors Lite for acceptance in the Vegas market. Leglifter at Big Dog's is a better lite beer in the area.

Looking for that beer to convert your friend from the bud and Coors light? This is one of them. Crisp lager taste with a lighter touch of hops and malts. Crisp feel, color and taste. Beautiful golden color.

Had one on tap with dinner on the Strip - it was the only beer they served that I hadn't tried before. Wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The taste had a nice smooth maltiness which was clear without being too pronounced. Was a good companion to my meal. An inoffensive choice if you want to go the light beer route. Maybe won't impress the hop heads, but it achieves what it aims to achieve.

No head really on a slightly hazy straw colored body. Aroma of pale malts with a little funk, standard for style. Flavor is pretty interesting though. There is your standard pale malts but up front the corn is more cereal corn than sweet corn. Light body and moderate to high carbonation. This is actually pretty good for the style. Certainly better than your miller or Budweiser product light beers.

Draft at Las Vegas.

Pourd clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Light aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration.

Below average pale lager.
