I had the 15 year anniversary ESB on tap at the Goose Island Wrigleyville location. Note that this is a new beer and different from their old Anniversary offering.
Beer was a nice light brown with a moderate head and sheets of lace.
Nice hop smell. I also picked up notes of toasted malt & a fresh biscuit aroma.
Taste is first rate. There is a nice subdued hop flavor and you pick up a slightly Smoked malt vibe. Perfect low carbonation for style. Very smooth and easy to drink.
A great example of this style.
