Enjoyed a couple bottles for the first time in a long time. Like many before me, this was the gateway beer to the broad world of Belgian beers. Just as enjoyable as I remember and still an excellent ambassador.

Golden effervescent body with lively bubbles and a soft puffy head. Aroma is grape skins, hay, pepper and that unmistakable Belgian yeast.

Taste is fruity esters, grape must, light spice, a touch of funk. Drinks dry and finishes crisp. Easy drinking with a nice cascade of flavors.

Slightly hazy golden orange color with a thick head with good retention.
Aroma with notes of peaches, candi sugar, some sourness funkiness and mild horse mantle.
Flavor with notes of lemon, ginger, white pepper, white wine, friendly funkiness, some barnyard notes, candi sugar, pear and oranges. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness and residual acidity.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Very elegant Farmhouse ale with white wine notes and spices that increasingly gets funky as it warms up.

pours a a very slightly hazy yellow body with a small white head produced with aerated pour. Minimal retention and lacing, which is pretty surprising for the style. aromas are bright and fruity with strong notes of grape and apple. Some yeastiness and garden herbs. flavors are dry and bready. a little white wine-like character as well. well carbonated, medium- mouthfeel. Watery around the edges. Overall, a bit of a black sheep of saisons. not my favorite, kind of bland

Straw yellow with a fingernail of eggshell white. The aroma is pale, yet slightly sweet Belgian malt. That same sweet Belgian malt is showcased in the flavor profile. The yeast offers a fruity pear to peach finish. The mouth is moderately carbonated, dry, and refreshing.

Very tart initially. Not getting all the flavor notes. It is tart. It is dry. No pepper or creamy vanilla finish. I'm an IPA guy, but I do enjoy the occasional saison. This is serviceable. Not bad. Not great. I would drink it again but there are other saisons I would look for first.

Pours a creamy golden color, minimal head when poured from the tap. The nose has notes of wild flowers, and a wheat smell. The taste is a bit funky, and sour. This is in a good way. Fairly mellow and smooth. Decent body, with a nice mouthfeel. I can see why this beer is raved about. It is a top notch beer.
