Pours a clear amber-red color with a half-finger of fizzy, light-tan head that quickly dissipates into a modest crown. No lacing.

Lots of cinnamon and apple in the nose, with some caramel and shoe leather behind.

Huge sweetness in the taste: loads of caramel, clear cinnamon and more apple. Fairly strong alcohol heat. Vanilla, custard and leather add some depth on the backend.

Creamy, medium-bodied, viscous feel with tight carbonation.

This was the 2020 variant I was least excited about, but it is very well executed. You just have to be in the mood for caramel apple.

Looks wonderful, syrupy and viscous with light carbonation.

Smell is spot on. Straight caramel apple, woody, boozy, sweet.

Taste is where it falls apart for me. Get a bit of apple and cinnamon but the caramel comes in full force. Not the "oh this is a nice bit of caramel" flavor but an overpoweringly "WE NEEDED CARAMEL IN HERE SO HERE IT IS, ALL OF IT". It tastes pretty artificial and very, very one note due to the caramel.

Feel is what you would expect from a GI wheat wine, excellent.

Overall, this is not very good. I let it sit out for a bit to see if it was just the temperature, and no, it wasn't. Ended up dumping it out. They hit the mark with everything but the flavor, and I believe it's from the overly artificial caramel flavor that's thrown in.

Good head production and OK retention, considering the style and ABV. Body is a coppery amber hue.

Nose hits all the right notes: bourbon, caramel, apple, cinnamon, and a thick, sweet malt base with strong notes of honey. Surprisingly restrained; just a touch boozy.

Quite sweet on the palate; it's like a boozy apple pie in a glass. Cinnamon is thankfully not too strong, finishing with a light and dry spicy kick. Caramel is fairly strong, but blends very well with the malt base. Honey, bourbon, booze. It really tastes like someone drizzled bourbon onto a frosted apple pie.

Thick and sticky feel; full bodied; booze is present, but it's an easy sipper.

Pours a brown-ish/amber color. 2 finger off white head. Looks frothy. The retention is damn good for the high ABV. There is no lacing on the glass.
There's a nice and strong, yet mellow at the same time boozy aroma. Lots of malty sweetness. Some caramel. Some apple, and a hint of cinnamon.
Taste - Lots of apple on the flavor, and it's up front. It gets a bit of the cinnamon in the middle. The backside is loaded with caramel. The sweetness kicks in with the caramel.
slightly boozy. Thick, full bodied.
I'm totally digging this bad boy. Tasty!!!

That's a caramel nose with cinnamon and apple notes. Nice color, amber red. When I poured it from the 2020 bottle, it sounded fizzy at the last. No head at all, but what a nice taste. I taste it like a glass of wine: swirl it around a little. Bourbon, oak, cinnamon, apple. A fine taste whether cold or warmed up a little. A thickish finish with a little heat to the back of the throat. Happy New Year!

Pours a surprisingly light reddish brown (was expecting a darker, more opaque beverage), with relatively small amount of foam. Foam disappears relatively quickly, leaving hardly any lacing on the glass. Smell is pleasantly sweet, not overwhelming as can be the case at times with this style. Significant amounts of caramel and vanilla, bourbon (of course, and wood. Good drinkability. Even at the high ABV, this drinks quite easy, not overpowering at all. You may want to keep this beer chilled - do not let it warm up too much. I recommend this for an after dinner experience.

Felt likel a slightly thin body with plenty of carbonation
Aroma was mostly dominated by apples and caramel to the point of not getting a strong sense of much else. Plenty of alcohol followed by an earthy malty aroma
Taste to me was dominated by caramel and alcohol. As it warmed it came off a bit sour and like the flavors weren't meshing so well.
Most likely Im in the minority ,and I can appreciate what they were going for and how it was made. Just wasn't a hit for me
