Drinking out of a small snifter.
Pours a clear light orange with a medium head.
Smells some of oranges.
Good mouth feel.
Not the taste bomb they advertised. Crisp, clear, somewhat sweet with some mal taste. Some hints of orange.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Super bright and crystal clear like a gem, with excessive amount of carbonation, nearly looks like soda bubbles rising from within. Head is faint foam with a thick four finger top and solid retention that doesn't budge.

Nice mild sensing hop citrus notes, mostly orange and soft sensing. A little bit of zest and sweetness mix in for a good balance of sweet and bitter.

Palate is unexpected. Very light bodied, almost kind of wet but still with a powerful flavor profile. Large hits of citrus orange and perhaps some pineapple squeaking in. Playful carbonation but surprisingly not gaseous tasting. Minimal to no hit of booze but also light on the body angle as well, with an even touch of pine herb quality in the aftertaste.

Interesting take on an IPA, with a real quick and light palate in a big package which honestly is pretty impressive.

12oz can, Duvel tulip, looks like best by 14SEP24.

Super clear gold with a white crema.

Stone fruit, sweet underlying alcohol, and I’m going to snag another reviewer’s descriptor of root-like. It has this sweet, musty, wet earth smell.

Pretty similar flavors. I think this one is showing its age. I wonder how far out Goose Island is putting these best by dates. A little citrus zest, root sweetness, fairly transparent caramel malts, and weak stone fruit.

Moderate body, moderate carbonation. It’s there but not very noticeable.

This is what you’d expect from a macro owned IPA. Maybe it’s not fresh, but maybe it’s just not very good.

Golden color. Smells sweet and almost pastry-like. Tastes light and airy with some malt and fruity (mainly pineapple) hints. Feels thin with crisp carbonation.

I was expecting a heavier and fruitier beer given the marketing. But I'm not disappointed. This is clean, easy-drinking, and fun. I would never guess this was 7%.
