Got this on draft in a tasting flight at Clybourn Brewery. Smell is of milky malts and slightly sweet cocoa. Taste is sweet and is very hot chocolatey or maybe mocha latte. Fizzier than anticipated--not sure how I feel about that. Overall a good beer for a change of pace.

This beer poured out over the course of several minutes. The nitro was acting up at the brewpub and made the bar tender have to take a good amount of time to get the glass full. The beer is black in color, big creamy head on top with a good lacing. The smell of the beer is roasted with some faint chocolate notes in there also. The taste of the beer is semi sweet up front with the roasted bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, slightly thick too. Overall it's a really nice sweet stout.

Served in a pint glass at the Clybourn brewpub.
This one was apparently just put on before I got there, hadn't yet made it to the menu. Cheers to the guy across the bar who ordered one, alerting me to its presence! It pours a straight onyx topped by a finger or so of cream foam. The nose comprises cocoa, light chocolate powder, light roasted malts, and a touch of molasses. The taste brings in more of the same, with a general chocolate milk/hot cocoa vibe going on. The body is a straight medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. Overall, a very nice milk stout, the best of the stouts I had this visit.
