(Served in a tulip glass)
A- This beer pours a crystal clear slightly deep caramel body with a sticky light tan head and a relaxed carbonation
S- The dry clean white cheese rind hint gives way to a dark green hop aroma
T- The dry crisp saison yeast flavor grows into a green hop note that has a hint of hop bitterness that lingers in the dry finish. There is an unripe stone fruit flavor to the hops that opens nicely when the beer warms a bit.
M- This beer has a medium-light mouthfeel with a crisp finish and no alcohol heat.
O- The smooth drinkable beer has a nice balance of yeast characters and hop flavors. delicious.

This poured out as a nice looking clear yellow color with a thick white head on top. The head settles leaving a nice sticky lacing on the glass and a thin film over top of the beer. The smell is most Belgian yeast aromas mixed with some lively hops. The taste of the beer has a pretty good balance between sweet and bitter, the finish is nice with the bready yeast coming through. The mouthfeel of the beer is generously carbonated with a crisp finish. Overall this is a pretty good Belgian IPA but not the best I've had.

Served in a tulip glass at the Clybourn brewpub.
Finishing up my quick visit to GIC with this new offering. It pours a clear copper-amber topped by a finger of cream-white foam. The nose comprises light Belgian yeast (wow, been a while since I used that one...), tangerine zest (menu was dead-on about that one), and banana. The taste brings in more of the same, with the tangerine being joined by further rind-y citrus fruits, and some light earthy greens and light-ish pine sap joining the party as well. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry, sticky finish. Overall, a tasty, highly enjoyable BIPA.
