Served in a nonic pint glass at the Clybourn brewpub.

Well, if it's extra special, how can I turn it down? It pours a clear garnet topped by a finger of cream foam. The nose comprises lettuce, earthy greens, and light toffee. The taste brings in more of the same, along with some brown sugar and a pinch of black pepper. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry finish. Overall, a solid ESB, nothing astounding, but easily drinkable.
