Wow!! This is good! 8 oz draft pour into sniffer.
First in the nose is cherries, then some dark chocolate with vanilla, bourbon, & oak rounding it out. Almost no lacing but did coat glass. Appearance was dark, almost allowed no light to pass. Taste; Mmm! A little bitterness from chocolate mixed well with tart and sweetness of cherries. Oak and vanilla from bourbon with slight warming from bourbon also.

No foam on pouring, just a tiny lacing around the inner rim of the glass. Bit of rye on the initial sips, w a faint back taste of mildly tart cherry. Flat bourbon county base flavor, very smooth nonetheless. Berry flavor, not really cherry though

Tasted from bottle. Pours black with slight beige head. Aroma of bourbon and cherry. Thick and chewy with a nice cherry flavor. Caramel, spicy rye, molasses. Awesome beer.

Sweet cherry on the palate (without the candied/medicinal flavors that accompany similar stouts), great rye barrel treatment to compliment the fruit flavor, and finishing with a less vibrant Backyard Rye type chocolate bitterness.
