Served on tap in a tulip glass at Goose Island Clybourn over their Cuban Sandwich, 5/27/2013. Also shared a bottle with Shaun #1 and Doug yesterday 6/3/2013. This review will be mainly based on my brief notes from the on-tap version.

Aroma: Mostly a malt sweetness with some pine and floral hoppiness.. smells refreshing, but there is something a bit off about it. It's not just that it smells a bit like cat piss, but it's definitely dank. (4)

Colour: The picture I took to log this one shows it in all its glory. Beautiful, deep amber body with a 2cm white head that is very fluffy and takes a good while to simmer down into a thick film and collar. Lacing was very thick and proliferative. Definitely a good looking one. (4.5)

Flavour: A good bit of citrus, pine and floral hops throughout, balanced out by a nice candied caramel malt. Its quite a bit hoppier than I have had from Goose Island in the past, which is welcome. Well-balanced but not a world-beater. (4)

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied pale ale with very good carbonation. Finish is somewhat bitter and dry. Not as resinous as you'd expect from something this sweet. Aftertaste is mostly the floral and pine. (4)

Overall: Not a bad offering on tap, tasty for sure. Drinkable and is clearly put together well. Its certainly not the brewpub's best beer though. Now the cuban sandwich, that one is to die for. The Silver Jubilee was a good one to go along with it. (4)
