This place was difficult to find because the sign was worn or weathered. They no longer brew but they do have a decent selection of Microbrews. From the inside this place appeared to be small kind of like a British Pub. They had a computer set up for selecting music and a decent sound system. There was a patio in the back of this place near the parking area. Lots of unique beer and USA paraphenalia all around this place.

Some stainless steel and some brass tap nozzles. Wood bar, tables, and chairs (not many) along with the paraphenalia gives this place some unique character. Restroom was clean.

Service was friendly, business like, and prompt

The selection was mostly micro; Racer 5, XP, Brother David etc... with some Bud influenced stuff and macro in bottles. No cask was available.

No food.

This place was a prety decent little pub. Yes, I say "was" cause I heard that it sold. It's a shame, it was the only place in Redding, that had a decent selection of beers on tap. Hopefully who ever bought it will keep the kegs flowing. They had on average of approximately 10 different beers ranging from tangerine wheat, to russian imperial stout. The atmosphere was definately kick back, an easy place to enjoy a pint or two. (Or more) The weekends usually consisted of regulars whom you would see there all the time. Nice people, good atmosphere, and good beer. "Cheers"!!

Old stomping grounds for me. Used to be better... but still one of the few places in Redding that you can find an above average beer on tap.

The Atmosphere is really very hit and miss. Some nights it's dead, other nights a good band might be playing.

Quality is pretty good, especially considering this is Redding we are talking about. A few standards here? Old Rasputin on Nitro, Brother David, Racer 5... the bummer is, that the selection doesn't change quite as much as it used to, and often a tap will be "empty" for weeks before it is replaced with something.

Service is usually good, even when busy. And the bartenders are often very pleasant.
