A funny "ye olde style" English pub with an uncharacteristically broad selection of taps, mostly BC micros with some macros thrown in for the punters. No explanation on the menu what any of the taps were, and the wait staff weren't terribly knowledgeable, although they were efficient and friendly. Christie's has a lot going for it: a pleasant, casual atmosphere, a decent, sun-dappled patio, and some unusual taps (Crannog, anyone?) make for a good Victoria destination. Food was standard pub food. I'd come back, sure.

Preface this by saying that during my university days this was my chief pub, especially on 10 cent wing nights (those days are long gone!).
Cozy, laid back atmosphere with a nice covered patio to relax in (where I always choose to sit) - nothing fancy but nothing pretentious.
Around 25+ taps and at least a handful of quality locals in there (Tree, Crannog, Driftwood, Phillips, etc...). Food is standard pub fare - great wings!
Pretty standard but one of the only places in town that has Crannog's Backhand of God Stout and Tree on tap. For that alone, it's worth a visit.

I have been to this place twice. It is had to miss if you drive by at night, it is covered with lights. Both times I went I had food and beer. The food was nothing special it was not bad it was just average, I dont even remember what I had to eat. They had a good selection of beers on tap and papers with information about the brewer/beer. If I am back in Victoria, this is one place that I will go back too, to eat and to have a beer or two. This was the best place in Victoria that I found to get a good beer and a decent meal.
