Amber ruddy color. Smell doesn't reveal all that the flavor had to offer. Malty throughout. Lots of lacing and nice head which are present throughout the drink. Nice amber.

Served on tap at the Creamery Brewpub and Grill in K-falls right after visiting Crater Lake. Review is from notes.

A - Pours a beautiful dark amber with a two-finger, dense, off-white head. Moderate to high carbonation. Head stays intact all the way down the glass and leaves behind a big wall of lacing.

S - Sweet and biscuity malt with a hint of northwest hops.

T - Malty upfront. The body of the beer has greatl balance between caramel-bready malt flavors and cascade hops. Flourish of earth hop flavor as the beer passes over the back of the tongue, leads to a bitter caramel aftertaste.

M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Fairly chewy and suites the style well.

A well crafted amber ale the was paired well with the fish and chips I ordered and finished off a day of hiking around Crater Lake. Although this isn't the best amber I've ever had (As the in depth and well-written beer menu claims), it is damn good and highly recommended if you ever find yourself in K-fallls. I look forward to enjoying their other selections next time i'm in the area.
