Picked up a 12 oz single from the Ingles cooler on Highland Lake Rd in Flat Rock for $2.00. Canned 5-19-23; consumed 2-23-24. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured golden orange with a beautiful white head that has some great hang time. Maybe overactive yeast?
Nose has notes of floral and citrus hops but are fairly muted with some age perhaps?
Taste is a pale malt base that gives way to old school grapefruit and pine. Finishes with a touch of piney biterness; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and both smooth and refreshing.
Overall a solid beer, suspect it would be better fresh and on tap.

Thick sticky head. Not much going on aroma wise. Pretty boring. Where’s the pine, citrus smells I’m used to in an IPA? Doesn’t smell bad, just meh. Interesting flavor profile. Definitely not a hop bomb. But very balanced, very drinkable. Taste better than I expected. I like it.

12 ounce can in an ipa glass.
Beautiful golden amber color, clean and clear. Durable white cap, modest spot and ring lacing.
Caramel malt, pine, light west coast citrus.
Strong caramel malt and orange citrus.
Solid medium body. Very bitter and dry. A bit of resin.
Tastes and drinks better than its name. Shiva?
West coast ipa it is.

12oz can
no apparent freshness date
L: foamy off-white head caps a clear copper colored ale
S: pineapple, mango, tangerine, caramel malt, grain
T: caramel malt, toasted grain, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, piney mango
F: fuller body, resinous, ample carbonation, bitter & dry finish
O: this was good, but it seemed to have a bit too much going on, making flavors unable to meld well

Drinking this from a can poured into a pint glass.
Appears Hazy orange with a nice white foamy head that lasted.
Smells citrusy orange and piney.
Taste follows the nose.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice IPA with an attractive head that I will definitely drink again.
Cheers!

Not particularly exciting to look at but with a nice head ... Pleasing to the nose ... Some citrus, a little malt and not very happy ... Nice, yet not thrilling, IPA
