Nice place. Mostly self service due to Covid protocols. Friendly, well meaning staff, but not super on top of service. Pizza was really good. Beer was ok. Would go again for food & beer.

Went when they opened on a Friday afternoon and there was already a bit of line; due to Covid the outdoor section was utilized but not the indoor so can only say had a table in the shade near a fan to keep cool. Can't complain about the service and everyone there was relaxed. This is a place that seems worth checking out and one I'd like to go back to once things get back to normal.

Vibe - super friendly and how cool is movie theater brewery restuarant
Quality - I only had one beer but I thought it was great
service - In the theater there was only one register so the line got pretty long. Really nice people though
Selection - ton of options
food - pizza was really good

this place doesnt have great ratings or a great local reputation from what i can tell, but i really dont understand why. i had a great slice of pizza here, a couple of solid beers, and a nice relaxed mellow time at the bar. its right downtown in the middle of all the other breweries here, so maybe its lost in the shuffle a little bit, but i really enjoyed my time here. its got a hippy vibe inside bright colors and a coffee shop sort of atmosphere, with a large beer garden area outside, covered but open air too, very chill. i had an enormous slice of pizza that was quite good, especially late night, and i liked both the float fluid ipa and the perfect day ipa, classic and well made hoppy beers. the selection wasnt crazy, everything pretty basic and approachable, but its a relaxed space, totally unpretentious, and with some nice folks behind the bar taking care of me. i wouldnt rank this among the best in town, but i sure wouldnt write it off either. low brow and solid offerings, whats not to like?!

Neat space - loads of other spots to hit in the area just blocks away - with decent beer. Fun place to hang out. Give 'em a shot when you're in the area. Cheers!

Been here a few times now, finally writing a review. Large tap selection of in-house brews, all of which are above average. Service is solid (we were there on a Friday evening), and the food was quality (I had a bison burger). Prices are reasonable for the South Slope.

I really enjoyed the beer and the food was fantastic, but the service was absolutely horrible. I'm almost positive our server was stoned out of his mind, which would've been cool IF he would have remembered to check on us occasionally. I would return for the food and beer but definitely hope I get a different server next time.

I much preferred this location to the pizza place / brewery / theater ABC. The restaurant is pretty generic, but the outside area has more character to it. Much like the other location, there is a good amount to choose from beer-wise, and a good range of styles, and the tap list is different. My favorite here was the apricot gose, which came as quite a surprise. The food is about the same: sandwiches, pizza, etc. Service was fine.
Bring a designated driver and do a bar hop. All within easy walking distance: Funkatorium, Tasty, Asheville Brewing, Burial, Green Man, Twin Leaf. It's hard to beat this neighborhood as far as beer venues goes. I'd say this is the true heart of Asheville right here.

Walking in there is a smallish bar that is L shaped and can seat 10. Some booths and table fill the rest of the place including a slightly divided room in the back. Plenty of natural light from the windows here. A blackboard lists 15 beers on draft. Only had one Shiva IPA here and it was decent. Ordered some appetizers which were mediocre. Service was friendly but a bit slow, but there was a good crowd here.
