From BeerAdvocate magazine Issue #70 (November 2012):

Aged 6 months in a “magic” barrel and then 3 more months in a rum barrel. Beautiful, Green Man should dabble more in the sour beer arena with the successful creation of this ale. One more shining star to make both sides of the beer scene proud in the Ashville area.

STYLE: American WIld Ale
ABV: 6.8%

Bottle #99 / 120 at the Rose Inn. Olde Hickory snifter. Bottle is almost 2 years old.

Pours a cloudy murky brown with a slight head. Smell is quite funky with the brett but you can tell it has mellowed out on the tartness just a bit even in the aroma. Flavor is also mellowed out but extremely funky. The brett is definitely more developed and cuts through the pedio. Not very sour here...probably would have had more of a lip puckering bite to it fresh but i dont think it was that sour to begin with. Body is a tad lacking... i think this might have been green mans first sour though im not positive. i definitely prefer the newer ones they have brewed since. overall solid.
