Green Man India Pale Ale is delectably hoppy with a properly balanced body. 12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.

Mildly hazed deep amber color, two fingers of head stays around for a while. Floral herbal hop nose with toasted bread and some fallen apples, great aroma. Smooth and creamy with a hearty medium body. Hints of caramel and toasted bread from the malt, prickly zesty hop bitterness is assertive on the palate. Herbal woody tones with some light floral and citrus flavors from the hops. Balance but clearly hop forward. A great rendition of the style, American in size for sure.

When I first got into craft beer I would have loved this. It is a solid flagship IPA but it wont blow you away. Some floral flavors and aromas but the beer would benefit if they were a little stronger. If in Asheville you may as well grab one of these.

This Beer makes great for a late evening conversation with an amber shade color and a head retention thats at least 2 fingers along with a ibu of 63 I would have to say it is one added to my list of enjoyable ipa's. The mouthfeel is a medium viscosity with a taste of English style hops that has the a very bitterness bite that we beer connoisseurs all know and love. A local NC brew one should give a try currently enjoying my session on my front porch watching the grass grow listening to skyrims soundtrack haha live your leisure and cheers!

My 600th beer. My Dad brought it after passing through Norther Alabama on his way up to Massachusetts and left a few singles. I had a great many Green Man's during a stay in Asheville, but not this flagship beer. It's solid, a worth everyday IPA, full of brassily expressed hops that nonetheless don't have the slightest skunk nor bad tang to them. Good stuff.
