Drank several beers here over a couple nights in Ashville. Lots of brewery only beers in less than common styles. Beers were good. They sell singles and packaged beer to go along with glaasware etc. They had a nice light lager that my wife enjoyed. Huge space with a decent view. No food.

Even on a crowded Saturday (w/ limited capacity due to Covid) was able to get an outdoor seat. Place had a relaxed vibe so was able to relax with a beer. Beer selection and quality were pretty good, can't say anything amazing but not anything bad, and service was friendly, so all-in-all this is a place worth checking out.

Really nice building, lots of people went on a Saturday afternoon pretty crowded had to wait a bit for beers. The vibe is nice, beers are not bad right downtown so a lot going on. Better places to get a beer in Asheville based on beer quality.

vibe - down-to-earth chill place
Quality - everything I had was pretty good
Service - helps pick what's good and what's worth trying. Two levels with places to get beers
selection - good variety
food - I didn't see any food options

A bit more laid back in their original spot. More of a local atmosphere over the crowded venues at the other 20 brewery’s in Asheville.

Had a wonderful one person tour of the full facility. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting downtown Asheville.

The Green Man Brewery is a great destination. The vibe is fantastic. The staff member gave me her honest opinion and recommended an IPA that was just canned.

its cool how this little corner of asheville has become such a brewery mecca. there are awesome breweries literally everywhere in these couple of blocks, and its neat that these guys have two spots right next to each other. the original is right up the hill from the new one, which they call the mansion. it has a neat little beer garden area with cool plants, relaxed seating, odd garden trinkets and such, and a garage door open, windy, warehouse looking brewery right next to it, small bar in front with a great mellow low brow energy and vibe, and the brewery equipment in the back. its a lot less built up and frilly than a lot of spots in town, and it attracts that kind of crowd. they had a nice list of beers, which are largely hop driven, thats what they are known for, at least to me, so it was cool to see a lot of them on. bartender was prompt but not real friendly or chatty, seemed kind of pissed off actually, but we tipped well anyway and she seemed pleasantly surprised. i liked both beers i had in here, both hoppy, which i think is what they do best. at the mansion there is a totally different energy, its brand new and stone, clean and cool, nice in the summer, sort of like a castle, big and filled with echoes. they have a little gift shop in the front, a bunch of beers on tap, and apparently do packaging upstairs. its gorgeous and comfortable at the bar, but the service was sort of the same. i didnt see food at either place even though it is listed here. i liked the energy in both bars, two really different experiences, so if you dont love on, check out the other. awesome beer here obviously, and a staple brewery in this market. stoked i got to check it out. ill be back for sure!

Very cool brewery, the building has multiple floors and a balcony which is beautiful in this mountain town. The beers are good, but hit or miss. The service was great and the selection was also quite good.

This is the original Green Man Brewery “Dirty Jacks” it’s very green inside and has 10+ Green Man beers on tap. They have lots barrels stocked in this place and still brew a little in there as well.

The space is really cool. 2 floors and the second floor has an outside deck. The space is modern, clean and nice. There were a lot of choices of beer. However, after ordering 4 different kinds I only had 1 that I liked enough to finish. To be fair it was really good. The other 3 beers were honestly kind of forgettable. We did not eat there so I'm not sure about the food. I just wished all their beers matched the quality of the space.

Large, multi-level, architecturally interesting, new facility with an impressive range of quality beers. Beer to go available on the ground level. I have not tried food yet.
