This beer poured a dark brown color with ample head and lacing.

The smell was a hearty fruit scent.

The taste was a little rough at first but settled into a strong, fruity, hoppy flavor. A very nice ale.

The feel was unremarkable.

This is a highly drinkable beer, one of the best I've had in a while.

This beer poured a medium head with small bubbles. The hue of this beer was dark brown and the lacing was fair on the sides of my glass. The nose of this beer was malty. I enjoyed this winter ale fairly well as it had a nice, smooth taste to it in my opinion. I would definitely drink this beer again.

A- Rich dark red color. Came with absolutely no head. It was left with white lacing around the sides though.

S- Smells really malty. Cinnamon. No hop aroma arose.

T- Super malty. Not even a dark fruity ester. No cinnamon, no orange. Really totally misses.

M- Medium bodied. A syrupy type consistency overall.

O- I won't revisit this one. I wanted to like it I really did, but sorry Mad I just really didn't like this at all.

Pint glass came with almost no head, just more than a ring around the glass. Smelled of roast malts and coffee. Very pleasant slightly hoppy taste, if not as complex as it could be. Mouthfeel suffered from lack of carbonation. Overall it is quite pleasant and I would try again.

(On tap at Tomlinson Tap Room)
Poured a nice mid-burnt-brown with some very nice head and a bit of decent lacing. Nice thick and hearty scent with a great deep maltiness and a bit of spice in the nose. Nice thick and warming malt sweetness in the taste, with slight caramel and sugar hints, as well as a bit of nice holiday spiciness. Not the smoothest, but not rough at all, goes down decently well.

This brew formed a medium head and a transparent dark brown body. It has a mild malty aroma and a strong foretaste with a mild finish. It was very drinkable. This is a brew from my home town of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Growler courtesy of a traveling friend. This beer is a dark brownish-amber color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, roasted malt and hops. Medium-bodied and moderately spicy with toasted malt, floral hops and some tart fruit, The finish is mildly sweet malt with a lingering spiced hops aftertaste. Pretty solid all around.
