A sports bar for sure. The building is very worn in. Old weathered wood everywhere with lots of TV's in every direction. There is a patio out front, and a small bar. Lots of wood tables and booths. Some pool tables as well. Overall, if you like the sports bar theme you will love it here. I am usually not a big fan of this kind of bar, but it is still enjoyable for the most part.

Service is decent. Not a lot of knowledge about the beer, but they don't really need a lot. Friendly and quick is the name of the game. The food is hot, and the beer is relatively fresh. No complaints about the quality.

The food is standard pub grub Wings, burgers, etc. Nothing special, but it will fill you up.

The selection is pretty standard with a few decent offerings. Saint Arnold Ellissa and some New Belgium are the highlights. Pretty much BMC otherwise.

Overall, a nice local sports bar that has some local Saint Arnold offerings. Nothing more. If you are looking for a sports bar to watch the Texans game, this is a good option. I will take this any day over the many generic chain options around town.

This place is the quintessential dive. If you love dives, you'll love it. Post smoking-ban, the atmosphere is much better. Nice outdoor area out back (they used to have bean toss, and that made for good times).

Selection is pretty much what you'd expect for a dive in the nice area of houston: an oddball here and there but otherwise the typical majors (I think there are 10 taps? I can't remember exactly, but it's nothing impressive, but it's still more than the standard 3 tap tower).

The service is of course awesome. Personal and quick. Can't beat that.
