From a can, pours a slightly hazy gold with lots of carbonation, but with only a thin white head. So first the obvious, this is a very hops-forward beer with malt sweetness taking the back seat. The aroma carries through to citrus, grapefruit, and toffee flavors. Body is solid (not the least bit watery) and a bit 'boozy' (alcohol taste). It's a really good beer, but it's not a drink all night beer.

Poured out of a pint can with a best buy date of 2 months from now. Fairly clear amber pour with a generous, fluffy white head. Pretty decent residual lacing. Some pine and citrus notes in the aroma. Taste follows the nose to some extant. Juicy citrus hope notes along with some pine balance against a malty backbone. Solid enough DIPA, doesn't stand out in any particular way. Maybe that's not a bad thing in today's world of milkshake, juiced, hazy, etc IPAs.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus hops, slight spicy hops, sweet malt, slight alcohol, and earthiness. Fits the style of an American Imperial IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is a strong bitterness. Tastes of citrus hops, slight spicy hops, sweet malt, slight alcohol, and earthiness. Overall, good appearance and feel, with a decent aroma and blend.

This is a very malty beer. I do not expect an IPA to be this malty, nor do I want a malty beer when I buy an IPA. It isn't a drain-pour beer, but it's close. This thing is not balanced. This beer is malt forward. No like.

12 oz bottle with a BB date notched at June 2018.
Clear amber body with a lasting, bone-colored head. Decent lacing.
Strong, hoppy aroma with hints of herbs and fruits. The aroma is more fruity with apricots and other tropical fruit notes. It's relatively low in bitterness and moderately strong for style.
Feel: medium body and carbonation with a fine, dry finish.

Had on-tap at the Yard House in Indianapolis. Poured into a pint glass.
L: Clear golden pour with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Solid lacing.
S: Pine and citrus... hoppy and resinous.
T/F: Malts and bready grains form a strong backbone for a bitter yet balanced hop profile. Citrus and pine... pineapple and honey, a bit earthy. Sticky mouthfeel. Finish is citrus and bittersweet.
O: A solid and drinkable DIPA. Not top of the heap but worthy of consumption.
