750 ml corked and caged bottle, bottled on 7-1-14, Batch M14. Served in a Prairie Teku, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like persimmons, tropical fruit, lemon peel, oak and some funk and green peppers. The taste is nice and tart, the flavors are similar to the aroma but there's also some earthiness and vinegar noticeable. The earthy/green pepper flavor seems weaker in comparison to the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick and is also well carbonated. It's a unique brew, one that I liked more and more the longer I drank it. Glad I got to try this one!

A-Cloudy bright yellow, three finger fluffy white head.

S-Fruity, semi tropical, mild funk,

T-Fruity, semi tropical, rather funky, decent balance, wee pit of pickles.

M-Lighter, nice carbonation, semi crisp.

O-I though the Upland version was slightly better than the JP version
