Thanks to CanConPhilly for this one, from NBS BIF #9. 16oz bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured a cloudy orange-yellow color with 3/4 inch of white head that that good retention and lacing.
The aroma was great. light funk at the front, some grains coming behind that, then some floral notes from the hops, and finally a big dose of wild/funk awesomeness.
Very similar on the tongue, just better amplified. The hops are brighter, the grain stronger, and the funk funkier.
The body was smooth, even, crisp, and had the driest finish I've had in quite some while. Just snaps off dry, and the flavors linger well.
Drinkability was amazingly awesome, I could easily drill a couple bottles back-to-back without getting bored. Overall, phenomenal beer. An absolute must try if you ever see it.

11.1 ounce (330 ml) bottle, no dating that I could find on it. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention is excellent and there's a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like funk, earthiness, apricot, tropical fruit, white/green grapes and citrus peel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some pine and grassy hop, oak, and bready/grainy malt. Nice amount of tartness. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's creamy and a bit coating with a good amount of soft carbonation. I think this is a good enough brew, I wouldn't mind picking this up again sometime. $7.99 a bottle.

L: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a light yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that lasted a good amount of time. Excellent lacing.
S: An interesting aroma of tropical fruit, hops, yeast, pine, and a vinous quality.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of Belgian-style yeast, some pine notes (not your typical addition), citrus (lemon), light malt, some of the vinous quality, a bit of tropical fruit (pineapple), and hops. Not your typical sour flavor, mainly due to the inclusion of the pine and the vinous quality. Oddly tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: On the whole, this offbeat beer works. It takes a little getting used to, but give it a shot.
