Made with fresh whole strawberries from Heartland Family Farms in Spencer, IN, Strawberry is a fruited sour ale that showcases distinct fruit characteristics with a mildly tart base sour blonde ale. Light reddish hues highlight the color, with a bubbly pinkish foam. Aromas of fresh field strawberries and pleasant tartness. Lactic tanginess

Bottled 11/13/13; drank 3/15/14 @ the Yarchives.
Murky pink hue.
Fizzy off-white head which quickly dissipates; no lacing.
Strawberry jam nose.
Thin, carbonated mouthfeel; a soda bite on the lips.
SUPER tart strawberry flavor-it tastes similar to a Sweet Tart, no joke. 7-8 oz. are plenty for me; too intense otherwise.

750 mL bottle into a tulip
Bottle-date is smudged to the point of illegibility, but you can kinda make out a '15, so we'll just go with that.
Classic, Cantillon-esque appearance - orange-rose color with a soda-like wispy head that dissipates quickly.
Infused strawberries hit the nose first, with plenty of tart-funk surrounding them, along with oak and lemon zest. Pungent bouquet.
Carries more of a lactic punch-to-the-palate than the nose portends - we've got ourselves one pucker-inducing lambic here. Quite lemony, with undertones of strawberries, but more dry and oaky and sour than fruity. Refreshing though, with an effervescent complexion that closes quickly with a clean finish, as notes of unripe strawberries linger.
Typically I like lambics on the dry-tart side, but this goes a little too far. Still, refreshing and not a chore to throw back. I'd peg the ABV to be around 6.5%, although like stated in the review, it's not listed on the bottle.
