On tap at brewery today.
A: a clear, dark brown with about a finger of hot chocolate color head and excellent lacing retention. Great.
S: toasted malts, caramel, hazelnut, sugar. Rich and complex for the style.
T: a creamy, malty, light coffee flavored, reasonably thick brown. Hazelnut and a bit of bitterness as the beer warms. Really good.
M: medium bodied, fresh, carbonated. Not slick and just the right body.
One of the best upland seasonals and the best brown I've had this season.

A - Dark brown, mostly transparent, with a light head of off white. Not much head on pour but with a persistent ring and lacing.
S - Quiet malt, some roast and minerality.
T - Nutty with a subtle toasted bread flavor, closing on a very light bitterness.
M - Crisp and light, without lingering dryness.
O - Solid brown. Not particularly complex, but clean and tasty.
