Just picked up a 12-pack of these to try, at $17 for 12, they are a good deal. Overall I enjoy wheat-based beers, and that includes this one too. Smell is very typical for a wheat beer, tasted mostly spice throughout the beer, and seem to finish stronger at the end. Beer finished clean, with little aftertaste and is well carbonated. Overall a good, solid, but unspectacular wheat beer. Would drink again.

Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. The beer is straw yellow in color with a scant head of fine bubbles. The aroma is faint with spice and funk. The flavor follows with the spice taking on a cinnamon character and the funk becoming more pronounced. The predominant flavor, however, is of honey. The flavors mellow as the beer warms. The mouthfeel is nice and appropriate for this style.

Overall, I like this beer and would name it as one of my favorites of this style. I liked the honey in the flavor, but some might consider it to be a bit strong.

L: Bright yellow, hazy but barely, 1 finger white foam head

S: Lemon that's clearly present, but not overpowering - subdued by the wheat?

T & F: Hits the mouth with citrus lemon and carbonation. Thin and basically flavored, I would almost go so far as to call this a fruit beer.

O: It immediately made me think of the Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. I would want one of these on a golf course on a hot summer day. With the packaging, I was looking for more unfiltered wheat out of it, but I enjoyed what I got instead. Buying, though? I would probably just buy the Summer Shandy cans if I was in the mood for this. If I was looking for a traditional wheat beer, I wouldn't be looking for this. But at a bar with only Bud, I would definitely pick this over that every day of the week.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a whitish/yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is musty, wheat, lemons. Taste is spices up front, ginger stands out, wheat is present, light lemons. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall a refreshing and easy drinking beer.

Pour out your other wheats. Pour your Upland into a glass. Slice an orange for garnish. Drink. Repeat. This is the smoothest wheat I've ever had.

Pours a hazy lemon-yellow, with a thin, white head.
Smells of sweet orange and lemon, with the yeast backing.
Tastes of candied lemon heads right up front, and the yeast comes out to settle it down a bit.
Mouthfeel is very thin, yet refreshing. Could drink several on a hot summer day.
First beer from this brewery was meh, but different.
