Hazy golden. Slow moving beads of carbonation rise through the body. Nice looking rocky off white head. Lace is quite full. Fresh hop aroma. Quite fruity. With definite grapefruit coming through and also to a lesser degree maybe, apricot and nectarine and orange and pineapple. Quite a melange of fruity hop goodness. The flavor profile's got it all. Crisp hoppy snap to it. Solid malt backbone. Lingering, slightly sharp, bitterness. But not abrasive. Resiny, oily hop attibutes. Love it. Another great APA from TH.

Now excuse me while I go floss the palisade residue from between my teeth.

This beer came a golden copper with an irregular film of white that left some nice lace.

Smelled of white flour and apricot with a dry birch bark hoppiness and a touch of lemon zest.

Tasted of a base of sweet mandarin oranges with a smooth blueberry that carried a huge piney hop. Finished exceptionally bitter, but in a good way that only encouraged another sip.

The mouth feel was light to medium bodied with a light and easy carbonation.

This was a good experience for the hop variety, but not something I could drink all night long.

Biscuity pale malts and a mildly spicy hop nose makes me think I'm in for a real easy-drinker . . . Nope! The crisp, biting quality of the signature hop is enough to keep me from slamming this, and it ends up more of a sipper or maybe something to compliment a spicy entree or appetizer (I'll pair this next time.) Body is rather light and the mouthfeel a little on the thin side, but apart from that it's easy to put away. I might also like a touch more malt sweetness as this seems a bit unbalanced, but I don't wanna pick too many nits, this is a perfect thirst-slaker for the summer heat. Oh yeah, I'll say it again: Mike - try this hop in something like a Keller Bier or a Pilsener, it'd make a damn tasty experiment!

Appearance: Hazy gold color, huge white head after a fresh cracked growler is poured into a pint. Lighter than most APAs, more pilsner-esque.

Smell: Fresh hops and grainy malt.

Taste: Wow, great strong fresh hop flavor, but also a sweet and grassy/grainy flavor. Very piney and citrusy, but also has a fine berry flavor. Fantastic, a refreshing and interesting beer, good work TH.

Mouthfeel: Leaves a thick slathering of hop-flavored residue in your mouth. This beer is very well hopped.

Drinkability: A fine pale ale, another sure bet from the greatest brewery on 7 Corners.

Fresh Growler: Lighter shade of gold, clear body and bright with a stark white firmly set foam of about a finger high. Super nice lacing with droopy sheetings and broken stringy tentacles.

Aroma is not as forward as it could be as its light to medium in tone with a high pine wood tones laced with a dry parching-like citrus.

Wow, this has some big time hop bite. Hold on to your taste buds cuz they won't last long with this stuff. Flavorwise its not the greatest as its unbalanced with very light malt. Toasty and quick, with dry, woody, brittle, bitterness ensuing largely through the finish with a parching, acidic dryness of wood carving scraps, dust, and the metal bits from the dremel. Overly hoppy and thensome. To those who can handle it, all the best; as for me this was far too unbalanced for my tastes and actually not all that flavorfull besides its dry woody parched stuff. The thinnest of thin citrus pith makes up some of the parching soured action but this is uncomplexing and not a whole lot of balance.

Feel is dry, and quick to it at that, hard to enjoy it when it squeezes every corpuscle of your mouth dry within the first third of the glass. Body is medium and fluffy and tends to get lessened a bit in its hoppy girth as it sits as far as how fast it enters in. But the finish is built upon one very hoppy foundation of mouth quenching soured, dry bitterness its nearly unsippable.

Not a fav of the single hop pales from Town Hall. Give me more balance and I would probably like it more. Its a bit too hoppy, even for this hophead. Scary stuff. Bold and brazen, and not for whimps like me. Wowza yikes hoppy! Although it did grow on my memory as I went along and did become more manageable.

Golden amber color, light and see through. Thin but nice frothy head. The aroma has some sweet pale malt to it, but is mainly of hops, skunky and resinous, but quite a bit citrus as well. The smell led me to believe the taste may be weighted to a bit hoppy, I found it to be incredibly well balanced. The malt is great, a very lightly toasted, if at all, sweet pale malt. The hops are less bitter and resinous but more citrus flavored than the smell led on, all around fresh and floral as well. Smooth, slightly tart mouthfeel. This is a fine example of an American Pale Ale, and I found out I love Palisade hops, killed two birds with one stone.

Once more into the single hop series, this time with Palisades and again eschewing caramel malts for lighter varieties.

From a growler, after several pints at the pub. Pours a lightly hazed golden tone, with an ample serving of snow-white foam on top, lasting long into the life of the pint.

Sharp pine and prickly citrus in the nose, but not too loud, rather refined.

On the palate, it's crisp, dry and terrifically hoppy. A bit brittle up front, some grit and grab in the texture, plays well in the mouth. Some citrus and tropical fruit, mingled with grassy feel. Considerable malt, too, but not adding to the flavor, as far as I can tell.

Besides the fierce hop presence, this is a remarkably light and refreshing pale ale. Goes down easy, but the hopheads are more than happy. Fresh, vibrant hop attack starts at the lips and glides down the throat. This is another excellent ale...you'd think we'd get complacent from Town Hall's consistently solid output, but it's still astonishing how many great, great brews come from that tiny room back there!
