A - Pours out a hazy amber color with a small white head.

S - Tart cherries at first then followed by a bit of souriness. Fruit is predominant in the aroma but you notice some nice roasted malt in there as the beer warms.

T - Tart cherries again are the first thing I noticed. The tartness turns a bit sour as the beer warms and you also begin to notice the beers hops and malts.

M - Starts out tart then gets a little sweet and sour. Well balanced beer.

D - You can easily put a few back with this one. Overall this was an enjoyable beer with unique flavor and characteristics.

Hazed light amber body. Sticky off white head with some cling. Aroma has hints of toasted malt and some nice ripe cherry juice in the mix. On the palate, the cherry is subtle and adds a very refreshing quality to this ale. Biscuity malts can be found as a base. And hops add a touch of dryness. Overall, a nice little refreshing brew. Great by the pool on a hot day like today.

About the beer: this is a light American ale infused
with 100% pure cherry juice. "Hope" is brewed for a benefit we will host
at the Town Hall May 1called Brew for a Cause. This is a
benefit with the Peace House Foundation, a MN based nonprofit dedicated to
educating and caring for Africa's AIDS orphans.

And my thoughts:
Lightly hazed, apricot-ish appearance, under a solid slab of snowy foam, softly settling down.

Sour nose at first, cherries chirp up, then the choir grows, and the fruity aroma builds, quite distinctive and pleasing.

Taste: Cherry flavor continues this light, sour feel, all on top of a solid pale ale base, well-malance, not hoppy, really, and just enough malt.
Sweet, and then sour, and ridiculously drinkable.

Only drawback for me is, ...hell, it's a charity beer, who the hell am I to quibble? It's supposed to make a large group of people happy and still manage to have to have flavor, something they can't pull off at a sporting event.
