Draft. Poured into a pint glass a darker copper color wih a 1 finger head. The aroma is hoppy with notes orange, biscuit, and some florals. It’s really nice and the 1800 cuts the sweetness of the masala slightly. Medium mouthfeel. Some lace left on the glass as the head settled. Ends pretty clean. Some apricot type notes as well. Bitterness lingers slightly. Hop resins without being overly bitter.

Only one keg of this special release, poured into a pint glass.

A- ½ to one finger off white head, yellowish brown/ bronze color, very clear, very similar appearance to Masala Mama.
S- Similar to Masala, the hops are not as apparent, malts and breadiness comes out more, slight pine, citrus and grapefruit aromas.
T- Again hops are in the background, big malt and bready taste, slight pine, grapefruit and citrus, sweet, slightly bitter.
M- Medium mouthfeel, slight carbonation, sticky.
O- This is a solid IPA, but a little too malty for my taste, not as good as Masala Mama but still enjoyable, glad to try it.

Combination of 1800 and Masala Mama (one keg only, so you know it's good).

Served in a pint glass with 1/2 finger of beige head. Decent retention with some splattered lace. Color is a clear golden bronze.

Aroma: Hoppy with English malts. Bready and biscuity. Grassy and floral hops. A little bit sweet. Grapefruit citrus shows through.

Taste: Floral hops with a grapefruit sweetness. Bready and biscuit malts again with some caramel. Hoppy like an American IPA, but the English malts show.

Mouthfeel: Bitter and creamy with an emphasis on the bitterness. Medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Ends really sticky.

Overall, this was a decent beer. A step up from 1800, but a step down for masala. I guess I like American IPAs better. Easy drinking, but a bit too hop resiny in the finish.33
