Color is darker golden orange. Pours a white head.

Aroma: Really sweet. A lot of honey and wheat flavors. A little bit of spice. A big beer. Kind of dry.

Taste: Very sweet. A lot of yeast flavors. Kind of reminds me a Belgian. Dry grape skins and fruit flavors. Dry spice and wheat. A little bit of alcohol.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, but dry. Fuller bodied. Medium carbonation. Ends dry, but cloying. Kind of sticky.

Overall, not my favorite town hall beer. It didn't have too much flavor for how big of a beer it was. A small glass was enough for me.

On tap at Town Hall Tap. The beer arrives a cloudy pale orange color. The head is a quarter inch in height, and recedes quickly into minimal lacing. The aroma is of apricot, orange, and a hint of cherry. It smells much more like an IPA that a wheat beer, but it still smells good. The taste is fruity and hoppy like the aroma, but with a yeasty finish that has a rotten vegetable quality that really takes away from the beer. The mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation, and a smooth texture. Overall, this is a rare miss from Town Hall. I won't be ordering this beer again.

Really, I think someone slipped me a Belgian. I've only had a wheatwine or two but this was not what I had in mind. Pours an inert, headless orange. The taste has tripel all over it, with an unwelcome bitterness and a strong phenol presence. Sweetness lingers in the background but it just muddles the storyn. Not as hot with booze as expected. Not to mention, would have liked a touch more carbonation.

A miss from a can't miss brewery, and a real bummer considering the number of sensational labels available at tht. No worry guys, this BA still loves you, just not this drink.
