Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery Royal PIA. Pale India Ale. Why not IPA. Because the production of this beer was a royal p--- in the a--, or that's what I've been told.
Clear, deep amber coloring, nearly crimson, slim white head.
Aroma: Big, fat hoppy nose, bold, robust, brimming with bitterness. Bright and ripe with fruity esters, slightly sweet and utterly enticing.
Taste: In the mouth, bustling flavors mingle and meld. Tasty, sweet, warm malt holds down the fort, never-ending bitterness bounces on the palate. Big and bold are the words of the day.
What are we getting here? Apple, cherry, going from bright to burnt as the alcohol rises in prominence. I'm getting the feeling of an English-style IPA, done double, which is starting to resemble a barley-wine, or sorts. And it is delicious. Have I mentioned that? Man, is it ever!

Beige head with lots of sticky lace. Color is a clear copper.
Flavor profile is off the hook. Tons of tropical fruit in this one. Mangos, grapefruit, pineapple, and oranges. A ton of floral hops. Big citrus. A decent amount of bready malts to balance things out a bit.
Mouthfeel: bitter and sticky. Medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Ends sticky.
Overall, this beer rocks. Very drinkable and enjoyable. I want more of this!

Town hall knocks a Northern IPA out of the park!
A: Reddish copper light off white foam moderate lacing
S: very sweet and fruity like a tropical fruit salad, mango like smell and other fruits very odd but very nice!
T: Hoppy and a slight mango or fruit sweetness that is very light yet quit detectable not sweet but has a place, bitter hop finibish that complement the other complexities in this beer.
M: finish with a slight grapefruit peal bitterness,
O: LAKE Supperior water in a Imperial IPA?
NICE beer!

Opaque, Amber copper color. About an inch of off white head.. hangs around awhile.
Whoa, a lot going on in the nose. citrusy, mango, pineapple, layered under stone fruits, plum, cherry... rounded out with malt sweetness.
taste follows the smell. a lot comes through here. almost barleywine-like, with a more pronounced bitterness.
medium carbonation, body isn't too thick. it works for me.
If you're into "Special" hop varieties with bold characteristics, this beer, brewed with 100% Mosiac, is for you.
