Finally made it in to Town Hall. It's a shame really, for the last 3 years I've lived withing 2 miles of it and never went there. Well, for more of those 3 years I wasn't 21, but still.

Finally made it out a couple days ago, and finally got a chance to try the Masala Mama. Boy was I pleased I did.

Atmosphere was great. The weather was nice so we sat outside. There was a Twins game in a couple hours so it was pretty crowded. Everyone was happy and in good spirits, the customers and the servers. It was an overall happy place to be...I would soon find out why.

The service was great. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the brews. He explained what all the brews were from the brewery, and the difference between the cask and tap Masala Mama. He was a great guy, and I tipped him well.

The selection isn't the largest you'll ever see, but it's hard to beat the quality. Town Hall's brews are top notch, world class brews. I don't care who you are or where you are from, you can appreciate these well crafted beers. I ordered a Masala Mama and that was it, but I will soon go back to try more.

The food was pretty good too. The portions on the other hand, were massive. We ordered an appetizer, big mistake. We ended up needing 3 boxes for 2 people. I could only finish half my burger and fries (Seven Corner Burger - recommended).

The price wasn't the cheapest, but it was reasonable.

I will most definitely be coming back. I love the atmosphere and so far so good on their beers. I will bring more friends next time.

This brewpub is one of the most beautiful interiors I have ever seen. Old, but well kept up. They hold a solid amount of events, and their selection is always large and changing. Their food is quite tasty, upscale bar food at a typical price.Their beer is actually some of the best in Minneapolis. Their flagships and barrel aged beers are pretty great, but I have had some duds. Overall, this is a solid place to stop by.

Fantastic brewpub, a must stop for out-of-towners. They redid their interior in spring of '14, but it still has a classic Minneapolis bar aesthetic, with lots of stained glass and intricate fixtures. Service is usually awesome, a good chunk of their staff has been here forever and is as well-humored as they come.

Selection is great: the standard year-rounders (such as the fabled Masala), seasonals are usually to style and delicious, and now they always have at least one BA offering on draft! Not to mention their well curated selection of guest taps, and a ton of ciders (and a great whiskey list, I will admit).

The food is nothing to write home about; while it's still above average pub fare, this is a foodie town after all and there are much better options nearby.

We've been to some poorly run events of theirs, and parking for free/cheap isn't too easy here, but I still always recommend this place to newcomers.

Probably the best beer I've ever had in Minneapolis proper.

A rather standard looking venue that could pass for just about any place, townhall clocks are a common motive. Love the neat looking taphandles.

Service is relatively straightforward, with a menu that's slightly a little more inventive than simple burgers and fries, but not straying too far. Duck poutine anyone?

But what really sticks out are the beers. While there are many to be had, 2 of the yearly produced beers were stellar. One in particular Black H20 was one of the most amazing Oatmeal stouts I've had in years. Project 3106 was also an exceptional piece of work.

Still think about the beers I had at this place and wishing I could go back.

Pretty good vibe, though it was fairly empty when we went. I like the bar area, but didn't venture into the dining part. Didn't have any food, so I gave it a 4. Very quick service and a good selection on tap, including seasonals and cask conditioned offerings. Would definitely return for some more masala mama!

Pub, old school, lots of pub style food selections. Affordable prices.

They brew pretty good beer. Masala Mama, etc. are worthy of their high ratings. They offer flights, the staff does a good job. Good wings, good burgers, not gourmet, but worth a try.

Nice atmosphere, if you like an old saloon type place. Good IPA(Masala Mama), and descent Strong Belgian Ale. Didn't eat any food so I can't comment on that.
