Received in a trade with Ckoz
12 oz bottle pours fairly thin, but pretty true to its name in color. I am really digging this aroma- oak, cocoa nibs, whiskey, vanilla, and charred malts. The flavor is not quite as complex as the nose led me to believe, but smooth and very easy drinking. The charred oak of the barrel notes takes center stage.
Overall, this is pretty solid. Haven't had the non-BA, but I would be interested to see more of the underlying base shine through in this one.
