Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a Schlafly tulip. Pours near black with a 1/2 inch tan head that leaves some spotty lace and a nice tan ring at the top. Smells of chocolate and berries. This is a light-medium bodied, really good chocolate milk stout with a little coffee, vanilla and berry mixed in. Makes a great dessert drink. Glad I bought the 4-pack.

Just had one off the nitro tap. Creamy with distinct strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate, both smell and taste. For me it starts sweet berries and ends w some bitter chocolate, and it works good. Nice brew!

Poured out of a 12 oz. bottle. I've had this guy in a closet for about 2 months. Kept at around 70 degrees.

Look: (head) quickly dissipating head with moderate lacing. One inch or so of beige/creamy brown head.
The beer itself is dark black.

Smell: Sweet maple, ice cream, milk, chocolate, vanilla, berries. (go figure)

Taste: Roasty-Coffee with berries, Sweet almost like a soda, Chocolate mid to late taste, Light Chocolate bitterness. Very sweet.

Feel: A mix of creamy and syrupy. medium/full bodied. lightly carbonated.

Overall: They got rather close to a Neapolitan tasting beer. I didn't get very much separation of flavor. You can pick out the different components but they tend to bleed together. I like the creamy mouth feel with chocolaty/coffee/roasty malt flavor. vanilla and berries are a very nice compliment. Similar to drinking a soda with the sweetness.

Solid stout that's very creamy. Doesn't have a lot of carbonation. At least the draft that I had.

On tap at Bonds Tavern in West Orange. Pours a jet black ebony hue with moderate frothing. Candied aroma replete with hints of chocolate and molasses. Similar overall flavor profile.

Disappointing look all together but not horrible. Fantastic taste and aroma, just as advertised with notes of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. Interesting, unique, and overall good beer!

Dark pour, not much head. Aroma is exactly as advertised...Neapolitan, interesting. Taste is same, very interesting! Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry all present and accounted for. Sweet and milky, almost need to scoop it into the glass. Great dessert beer, could never drink more than one at a time.

When you pour this, it is immediately disappointing, but as soon as the aroma hits you, bam, you know this is what was advertised.

The look is pretty flat, but nicely clear dark with tiny bubbles. The aroma is of strawberries, chocolate (just barely) and vanilla. Who'd a thunk the best use of that combo ever was in beer (ale, of course).

They don't say it is for breakfast, but that seems to be working fine. Very highly recommended.
