Served in a shaker pint glass at Durty Nellie's.

While waiting at the bar for a bottle share to begin, I happened upon this new offering, an IPA I can't find much information about. What better research than just trying it out, eh? It pours a clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises earth, lots of really hard water (at times, it verges on Burton-esque sulfurousness), and a very light twinge of wet grass. The taste brings in more of the same, though the hard water character is lessened now, replaced by earthy greenery awash in potting soil. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, this IPA didn't do it for me at all. The hop character took earthiness and green-ness to ridiculous levels, almost bringing about a feel of biting into a green bell pepper, minus any spice or heat or anything that may be construed therefrom.
