My girlfriend and I enjoyed this place. Great appetisers and soup, and we enjoyed the spent grain bread. We got a quick look at the brewery in the back and spoke with the brewer on duty about their process and equipment.

Later in the evening we returned to check out a blues band in their Bier Hall. Great place to go and enjoy some entertainment, along with some good beers.

I recommend the IPA or the Main Street Wheat, but I did enjoy all of the beers. The Wheat seemed less wheaty to me than the Oval Beach Blonde, both nice beers, but the blonde seemed more tart, which you might expect more from a wheat. Cole Porter is also very tasty. And they did have the cider on tap.

Stopped by on both a holiday afternoon and a weekday night. The staff was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. They only had 6 on tap at the time and no bottles or guest beers. They should be expanding that to 12 taps, possibly including a cider. The 6 beers they had were pretty good though. Possibly the only brewpub I've ever been to where there was nothing bad on the menu. The amber ale is one of the best of that style I've had and the Coal Porter was truly great. The food menu was limited at the time to sandwiches, but it was good. This brewpub seems to have a great future, I wish it was closer to were I lived.

Newly remodeled building going south on State Highway 2 out of Douglas on the right of road. Parking in the front. Clean Irish pub format with bar in the center in the back with tables for food in the front and patio in the front for summer. Freindly service from bartender and one of the owners with good knowledge of brews. Good sampler selection of 8 above average to average brews. Good menu of starters and sandwichs. I ordered the Kettle chips and they were very good.

Will stop again when in the area as it appears that new space will allow for new beers.
