I've been to three of the CB & Potts locations now. On my recent buisness trip to Broomfield, I visited this one twice. There is your 1st indication that it is decent, I went back.

I had a burger the 1st night, it was cooked the wway Iwanted, medium and the plate was full of fries. The second night I had a steak that was reasonbly priced and also prepared the way I orded it, medium-rare.

The beer are quite good here, I think there Big Red IPA is one of the better chain Brew Pub IPAs I've had.

Service was slightly better than average, although I am a tough sell in this dept. The other at my table during both trips though service was good.

Food is quite good as I said. Appetizer shared at the table were well excuted standard casual dining fare.

Will always look to go back when in the area. Would be my 1st choice of brewpubs in the area with Rock Bottom up the road and Gordon Biersch visble from the window of this place.

I have been going to this C B & Potts for over a year now. My friends and I go every Thursday for free trivia. The Three top teams win gift certificates and growlers of beer. The place is divided into several areas. The main bar has several booths and many tables. The bar is in a sort of "U" shape with plenty of seating. A digital jukebox is by a Golden Tee machine. A small side room has a couple long tables for larger parties and a couple pool tables. The bar area has several plasma big screens as well as a very large screen for projection. Opposite end of the building is the main dining room. A couple TVs to keep up with your sport of choice but not as many as the bar. Another side room for private dining which also leads to their patio. The patio is a disappointment with being small and thanks to large walls, no view of any kind.

The food is pretty good. Besides a standard menu, they sometimes rotate a small menu of "seasonal dishs". Once again some dishs are better then others.

The beer selection is very good. They have the standard brews that are featured in all of their locations (Blonde, Hefe, Porter, IPA, Pale, Amber). But the brew master likes to experiment more and more it seems. Lately a cask version of one of their standards is available. Other recent brews have been honey wheat, wit, and gluten-free.

And lastly, the staff. Yes I don't know how much about beer they really know. But come on... most are just trying to earn money while going to school at CU. They know enough to offer free tasters of some of the more extreme brews to see if you really want a whole pint. Or you can order a sampler of the standard brews. They are a big part of my going there almost every week.

Well... winning free growlers is kind of nice too.
