A golden pheasant in a field of ripened barley has always been a sign of a rich and bountiful harvest.

Really good beer!
Little hoppy on the heartburn.
But I really enjoyed how refreshing it was' especially after work.
Bought at a Sobeys on sale was surprised how good it tasted

I love this beer, it's one of my all time favourites. They serve it at Moya Slovak Restaurant in Oxford, where they pour it into the most ice-cold glass I've ever encountered. Great depth of flavour, golden colour, good head, deeply refreshing. That's what beer should be (to me). I'm no expert but this is so much better than the corporate lagers that are sold in supermarkets and pubs.

Pleasantly surprised with this one! Poured from 33 cl bottle into a lager flute. Slightly hazy golden color, with a center pour yielding a thick white head that left a bit of clingy lacing as it settled. Big aromas and flavors of caramel and toffee, with notes of dark bread, tart apple, and grassy and herbal hops. Pleasant, almost silky mouthfeel. Moderately sweet, but not overly so. Good bitterness, with a hit of peppery spice and a bit of astringency on the finish. Points deducted for a bit of lingering sourness on the palate, but otherwise a decent and very drinkable beer. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Shining gold body with a tint of copper, clear; eggshell white head forms airy and full, not solid enough to last longer than a minute.
Caramel malt on the nose, sweet, some diacetyl.
The flavour has some more balance, with bland hop bitterness providing a foil for the caramel malt notes and light butterscotch. It's enough to leave it with an off-dry finish. A faint hint of spice in the hops. Medium body and carbonation. The feel of residual sugar is there, a bit syrupy.
An average lager, but better than most of the mainstream American brands. At least it has some balance.

Bought at the Supermarket in Czech Republic. 0,5 l bottle poured into a Pilsener Glass.
-Very clear golder colour. Transparent beet. 2 mm foam head. Foam fades away after a while.
-Smell is not very big, less than other Pilseners. It is the same as other pilseners but less potent.
-Taste is fresh but very watery for my taste. Nothing to remark.
-Carbonation can be felt but not to a huge stent.
A less than average beer for the Czech scene. It is not terrible but just okay...
