L: Super hazy orange, almost milky, good lacing and wispy white head.

A: Big tropical hop notes, mango, candy, lime and a some citrus. The malt is subtle and bready and there is a touch of yeastiness in there to.

T/M: Moderate bitterness upfront moves into big juicy, tropcal hop flavors similar to the aroma and a nice restrained maltiness and a little bit of yeast in the back. The mouthfeel is somewhat thin and the carbonation is on the low end of normal, but the hop oils give it a little slickness.

Overall, this is a super tasty IPA with a huge tropical hop character. I believe that it is made with CItra and El Dorado hops, so it is no wonder. It is miles better than their DIPA and much more in the west-coast style. Highly reccomend.

Big grapefruit aroma, lovely balanced bitterness, a very good IPA!

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden orange color with a two finger head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the brew is quite potent and is strong of a mix of tropical fruit sweetness (mango, papaya, and pineapple) as well as some citrus aromas of a grapefruit hop and a sweeter orange. Along with these smells comes some lighter smell of cracker and a little bit of grain as well.

Taste – The taste starts with a dry bready/cracker taste mixed with a little bit of a grapefruit citrus. For the big nose the taste is rather disappointing as it never really produces the big flavors that I was anticipating after first sniff. As the taste moves on some light sweetness of a tropical fruit flavor comes to the tongue and a little bit more hop of a citrus nature and a bit of an herbal taste comes to the tongue. In the end however, one is left with a somewhat dull and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was average in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average as well.

Overall – It looked and smells really good, but lacks a bit in the taste profile as it falls a little bit on the weak side. Not offensive, but not really good either.
