1L swinging pop top bottle poured into tulip 12/7/14
A hazed orange liquid that get darker towards the center of the glass, enough clarity to see some bubbles streaming up the side, a large and loose foam had decent retention slowly falling to an island leaving partial rings deep down the glass
S pineapple and lemon, lemongrass with faint spice, pine, and lots of vitamin c chewable's
T lemon peel, faint bubblegum, the spices still faint, lemongrass is still there, not quite what the nose had going for it
M lighter side of medium, a little foamy, gritty, lots of lemon rind on the finish
O a little spice but not a whole lot of "White" for me anyways, pretty solid beer though at the end of the day, the liter bottle won't give me any problems that's for sure
I'm not sure if I would've guessed lemongrass without knowing ahead of time but its hard to miss once you find it and it works well. Interesting take on a IPA and something that's working well with this hot Summer day.

Appearance - Pours a slightly cloudy amber hue with three fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - Citrus hops, lemon and orange peel, lemongrass, peppery spices.
Taste - Moderately bitter citrus hop along with a peppery spiciness, citrus rind and a hint of lemongrass. Finishes with a mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall - An interesting take on the IPA by infusing a unique herbal element such as lemongrass, though more of the lemongrass in flavour would be beneficial. The black pepper spiciness and citrus hops are a nice and different flavour profile for this style.

Enjoyed a pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Calgary. Arrived a cloudy pale yellow color with minimal white bubbles dappled on top. Aroma evokes fresh citrus and is rather hop forward, with lemon, grapefruit, mango gummy candy, and pine elements all intermingling on both nose and palate. Quite green and citric, making me think of unripe pineapples and woody sap yet not without a fruity sweetness that recalls pears soaked in grain spirit. There's the lemongrass as well, grassy and sour, and a floral note like Thrills gum. I am finding the hops to be plenty assertive, with relatively little in the way of malt to hold them back. Fairly chewy body, with a prickly mouthfeel and a dry green, citric, piney finish where the lemongrass is particularly noticeable. Rather enjoyable if perhaps needing some malt or yeast flavors to reign in the green a bit. Then again, its a white IPA and does showcase a naked hoppy power to which I would gladly return, should the opportunity present.

A: Cloudy golden yellow with two fingers of slowly dissipating head.
S: Floral hops, lemon, a hint of tropical fruit. Not as much hop presence as I've come to expect from other west coast IPAs.
T: Orange peel, lemon, maybe some melon, and grassy bitterness on the finish.
F: Smooth.
O: A refreshing and pleasant IPA that's a little on the milder side.
