Look - slightly brownish orange thick with a slight white head
Smell - floral caramel with a slight funk
Taste - about the same as the smell with some booze
Feel - full body with a creamy light carb
Overall - 2014 in 2021... Interesting, wish I would have tried in 2014

Excellent IPL! Served on tap at the pub. Nice golden colored liquid with a chill haze and two fingers of bubbly foam. Nice aromas of lemon and cracker, pepper and pine, papaya and mango. Classic pilsner flavor with a citrus and tropical finish, with just a clean, piney bite.

Bottled summer 2014; drank 8/15/14 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque orange hue.
Eggshell head; frothy lace.
Mild melon & mango nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Mango, orange & banana notes mingle agreeably, but the finish is a touch too dry, leaving you with too much bitterness.
Good not great.

Pours a golden color, some clarity is obscured by the lager yeast and hop quotient possibly. Aroma was nice, like a hoppy Bud. Simcoe I'd guess. Maybe even some Magnums, there is a peppery edge to it that isn't malt/rye based apparently.
Taste is good, light toasted pale malt body, packs a good amount of hops, bitterness and alcohol on top of that.
I enjoyed the beer, but it would never be a repeat purchase at this price and it just doesn't stand out compared to what much cheaper IPL's bring to the table at an even or even better quality and quantity standpoint, just can't hang. Pine seems to jump the most flavor wise.

Pour: Bomber bottle into a tulip glass. Appearance: Light gold with brief white head that dissipates after settling. Aroma: Big floral nots with a light hoppy and malty profile. Taste: Hoppy with a peppery bite. Aftertaste. Consistent with the taste spicy and peppery on the back end. Overall: Enjoyed the experience. Unique style contrast. Very good: 4 out of 5.
