Pretty good IPA. Has a bit of a bite in the finish bit it doesn't ruin it. Very hoppy upfront with the pine in the back. Like your uncle after too main Pabst blue ribbons. Does that make sense? Yea didn't think so. This is an ipa I wish I could try on tap.

This Bottle was clearly way past it, but still within Founders' drink-by date, so i'll rate it.
Terrible stuff.
This can't be how the Brewery intended to brew it.

On tap at Das Biergarten. Deep orange, almost amber. Smells of sweet candy, jolly rancher fruity hops. A hint of caramel malt. Tastes of the same candy sweetness up front. Orange behind it. Caramel and bready malt. Moderate bitterness. Not Founders' best. Very sweet. Or at least it seems that way. It should be said that this is not my favorite hop.

Bought a 15 pack (cans) for $17.99 @ Gary's. Pours a slightly hazy copper yellow into a pint glass. Smells of a blended citrus and piney mixture. At first the crisp bitterness is very forward but as it warms up it seems to receed and the orchard fruity roundness come out. The body is almost syrupy but has good structure with a long lasting head and quite a bit of lacing on the glass. This has become my goto beer since I first saw it back in December and quite enjoy it for the price.
