From a 12oz can:

Appearance: Slight hazy gold, good head.

Smell: Mostly grapefruit, tropical fruit hints.

Taste: Nice balance of fruitiness and bitterness, drinks easier than 7%. Hops are a little brighter on tap than the canned version.

Overall: I bought the 15 pack and was glad I did. Nice to have a solid, hoppy beer for every day drinking. Nice hop flavor to this, especially on tap. My cans were 2.5 months old but still good as they had been refrigerated the whole time.

Very full bodied and flavorfull. Subtle and short lasting aftertaste with Carmel undertones.

Like: the initial bursts of flavors and hops.

Don't Like: very little aroma. Below average after aftertaste.

Bottle poured into a BarrelHouse Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours deep golden orange amber with a frothy off white had that settles to a firm layer and leaves some thick lacing.

S: Fruity, tropical, juicy citrus, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Burst of juicy citrus and tropical fruit, mango, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon lime, peach, and passion fruit, a touch of pine, with a firm bready malt back bone and some caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: I've been wanting to try this one since it first came out to see what azacca hops are all about. After what felt like forever waiting I can say I'm not the least bit disappointed. It's nice to get back to a sort of more traditional style of IPA after drinking so many of the new wave that are bone dry and verge on just being hop water. Really good stuff here.

Pours a clear amber with a light off white head. The nose is of mellow ripe tropical fruits and sweet malts. Taste of mangos, star fruit, guava and grapefruit. Large sticky semi sweet malt presence that I really enjoy. Medium body with a semi dry finish. To date I have had 3 or 4 beers that showcase Azacca hops and this is the best of the lot. One observation I have across all the beers is that Azacca hops work well with beers that have a bigger malt presence. Azacca almost seems to highlight the malt and bring it forward in the beers. I am a fan of Azacca! Cheers

From Saveur Biere. In Teku glass. After dinner. Light bodied, with a not much notorious bitterness, more caramelish with notes to mango a peach. Smell nicely hoppy and its easy to drink

This is another great one from Founders out of Michigan, our northern neighbor....so I got this pretty fresh.... today's 2/25/17 and it was packaged on 2/7/17. Very complex and hoppy taste with the Azacca hop giving it a citrus yet slightly malt/sweet touch. It grew on me with each quaff.
