Pours a gorgeous sun yellow orange with tons of carbonation that quickly recedes.

Huge citrus and tropical notes, mango, orange, pine, spice, and resin.

Orange, grapefruit, lemon, pine, and hop resins.

Light-bodied, medium-high carbonation, bitter, crisp, dry finish.

Overall, I was expecting a little more, but a great fresh hop brew nonetheless.

Pours a pale yellow with touches of orange mixed in. Head is only about thumb sized off white and it falls quickly but leaves plenty of lacing.

Aroma is not over powering but very nice almost soft hops, light herbal minty notes on a tropical fruit base not so much the big citrus hops but lighter and very pleasant. Malt base is light more bready with a touch of honey then caramel.

Taste is just like the nose basically, light tropical fruits on a bread malt base. Hops move to a more herbal then a minty like finish with some light lingering bitterness. Very pleasant and hop forward with out being over powering, lots of hops flavors say medium bitterness. This is one smooth and easy drinking IPA. Good flavors with out the need to scrap your tongue in between drinks.

Mouthfeel is light side also carbonation is on the lighter side which I enjoy.

Overall really digging this brew, hard to believe its 7.6% as it drinks as easy as the All Day IPA while being much more enjoyable. Wonderful beer.

A: beautiful, light yellow-gold... slight-moderate haze... ~1/4" white head once poured, smatters of lace... cap stays till the bottom

S: pineapple, mild pine... light-moderate solventy alcohol... perhaps some honey-ish malt... overall more subdued than I'd expected

T: bright, explosive burst of resiny hop flowers.... little bit of that pineapple and some a very soft wash of zesty-peppery (pepper, as in fresh chili) bitter hop in the finish, long into the aftertaste.... the 70 IBU is well blended and balanced into its composition.... wonderfully clean and invigorating overall.... not beat-you-over-the-head hoppy... more fruity complexity (lemon zest) unfolds with rising temp and subsequent sips.... not the least bit sweet

M: as light-bodied as a pilsner and super clean.... the perception of bitterness and its taste-bud-scraping effect increases somewhat exponentially

O: pretty damn fantastic.... simple and effective... I hate to say it could use a bit more depth in hop variety and malt biscosity (amount of biscuit flavor).... there are other beers out there that will fulfill that need.... I did down this unusually quick

2011 vintage, poured in Sam Adams glass.

Appearance: Hazy, golden yellow with a thin layer of soapy head that sticks around. Has a very attractive glow to it. Translucent, not transparent.

Smell: Very crisp, floral and lemon-citrus flavors. Some orange peel too.

Taste: The carbonation on this beer is perfect, making the citrus-bitterness of the beer really pop. Strong grapefruit-like flavor, with a sweet malt middle. Has a nice piney-hop finish that dissipates about 15 seconds after swallow. None of the flavors are too overwhelming, and overall the bitter-malt balance is near perfect.

Mouthfeel: Very good carbonation. Medium-thin bodied, but not watery. Incredibly drinkable.

Overall: An excellent example of a wet-hopped IPA

Pours a foggy orange-straw with three fingers of white head. Head foams up quickly after a slow start. Good retention and lacing. Citrus, dank, and pine hops form a sticky, hoppy aroma with a sprinkling of black pepper. Flavor profile is similar, with citrus, and pine hops, and a black pepper taste throughout. Mouth feel is smooth, and holding at a medium thickness. Overall, a well rounded IPA. Hops are at the forefront, but easily managed and balanced. The pepper notes are a pleasant change for an IPA.

Served in a 12oz snifter.

Poured from a bottle into a Dogfish snifter. Bottled on 10/4/12

A- pours a nearly transparent shade of yellow with a one finger pure white head. Looks pretty damn solid IMO, very clean

S- ridiculously heavy citrus aroma from the wet hops. Oh man, it's awesomely pungent

T- slight bitterness, plenty of juicy citrus. I kind of expected more, but still really good

M- on the thick side. Almost syrupy

O- damn good wet hop. Founders delivers, as usual

From the back label: "BOTTLED ON 09.20.17 0901 2"

Appearance: The body is brilliantly clear with a nice shade of light gold. The head looks fantastic; it's large and white with a fluffy texture. The head has great retention and it never seems to go down. It's picture perfect.

Aroma: The beer has this big aroma of what smells mostly like mango with a mix of tangerine and grapefruit. It has a very enticing aroma.

Taste: The beer has a very similar flavor to the aroma where mango seems to be the dominant flavor with some grapefruit. Added to the mix is a nice pine flavor bite and a bit of grain flavor.

Mouthfeel: It has good bitterness and carbonation with an off-dry finish. In the middle and towards the end it feels a touch thin.

Overall: It's a good beer with some excellent flavors and aromas. There isn't much to say for a beer that speaks for itself. I would recommend it and it's a good beer to pick up this time of year. I would drink it again.
