Poured at 40°F from a 12oz bottle (bottled on 23Feb16) into a nonic pint glass. Consumed on 20Aug16.
SMELL: Colossal waves of sweet and tart raspberry entangle with mild aromas of honey and wheat along with subtle earthy hops and lemon zest
4.25 out of 5
TASTE: Near overpowering flavors of sweet and tart raspberry nuke the palate at first sip. The gargantuan fruitiness quickly finds balance as mild wheat flavors flow on to the palate. Subtle flavors of lemon zest offer an additional fruity complexity as they follow right after the wheat. Flavors of mild honey and subtle earthy hops finish off the theatrical as all previous flavors maintain.
4.25 out of 5.
NOTE: I was not prepared for the amount of raspberry in this beer. This was after half a year of sitting in a bottle. I cannot imagine this fresh. I feel anymore raspberry would be too much. The quantity I had was perfect. I greatly appreciated the supporting flavors. They blended very well with the fruity goodness.

Impressive red colouration. Gently rising bubbles. Thin head.
Soft berry fruit aroma. Sweet.
Raspberry sherbert flavour. Hint of malt and hop bitterness. Somewhat tart.
Refreshing at first and then cloying.

Poured out of a 12 oz can to a beautiful, clear ruby red color. To the nose you get a face full of raspberries and not much else. Taste was again chock full of raspberries with at bit of a tart finish. very slight maleness detected. Very sweet and fruity. Extremely drinkable, clean and refreshing. You need to be in the mood for a beer like this, but on a hot day for a refreshing desert, this is a good one.

Great summer beer that I look forward to every year. Been forever since I rated a beer so FWIW - it's a consistently decent beer that goes great with dinner on the water while watching the world go by.

The tartness isn't overpowering, the taste flows across the tongue without residue and the mouthfeel isn't one of any grainy fluid at all. Not at all like eating raspberries at all, no little seeds or anything.

The nose is perfect without being overpowering, good head, nice lacing in a clean glass. Overall good beer. Better than average.
