Poured from tap into tulip, tight 1/2 finger cream colored head. Clear light red in the glass slight lacing. Smells of raspberry. Taste pretty much the same, avoids the medicinal taste that can come with some of these beers. Slight tart finish, great drinking beer. Want fruit but not too sour this is ur beer.

355ml bottle poured into a pint glass.

Gorgeous ruby hue with a hint of dark amber, the texture is mildly hazed with thick soapy pinkish/reddish head that withstands with good retention before slowly subsiding to everlasting foamy film on the surface along with lots of sticky patches of lacing.

Raspberry is everywhere and lively pokes through a nose with touches of juicy, syrupy, tart, acidic, yet sweet and sour. Some earthiness in the middle as well as wheat twang and slight herbal yet medicinal scents, malt thereafter reveals in the background with a note of bread.

The taste is still good with a domination of raspberry ranging from fresh raspberry, raspberry syrup, and raspberry jam. It becomes much tart, sour, sweet, and acidic as the raspberry got development through the taste buds. Sweetness and breadiness closely follow trying to bring some balance and they are done well together with the help of earthiness, medicinal, and herbal notes.

Medium body with smooth mouthfeel from its lively carbonation generated nice crispness and very refreshing feel throughout the palate, finish is pleasantly dry.

Very good brew considering its style, there is some complexity hidden inside but still truly refreshing, easy drinkable and simply tasty without doubt.

Poured from 12oz bottle with bottle date of 9/28/16 into Stein.

L: VERY red! Thin head that is very light pink. Small amount of lacing.

S: Overripe raspberries, no maltiness or hops.

T: RASPBERRIES. Nothing else at all.

F: Leaves strange oily feeling on the tongue. Light bodied, maximum drinkability.

O: If you like raspberries, this is your beer. Decent beer, disappointing coming from Founder's, arguably the best brewery in Michigan. Wouldn't buy this again but if someone handed me a free one, I would of course guzzle this down.

12 oz. bottle poured into tulip
(7/18/2016 bottled on date)

L: clear red with light pink head of foam about 1/2-inch tall; some sticking off head; keeping a thick collar of offwhite foam; not much lacing and the collar turns into this spread out soapy-bubbled thing that's a bit weird ... and cool; a little debris; stunning color and clarity, very pretty beer

S: dusty sweet-tart raspberry, more sweet than tart, like a sweet-and-sour candy; dusty/musty note leads and has just a hint of farmhouse to it ... just a hint, though -- this isn't "funky"; as it warms, a swirl pushes up a 1/4-inch head and a ton of sweet fruit aroma, no dust, must or anything else ... like a bag of sugar

T: yeasty sweet strawberry, raspberry, slight tart flavor in aftertaste ... no hop character and little-to-no detectable malt flavor, at least not any I'm used to; as I get into the glass, a little lemon peel earthiness starts building up in the aftertaste, but it's mostly sweet fruit with a pinch of tartness

F: crisp and light, loads of carbonation; almost enough body to call it a midweight ... carbonation feels like tiny little bubbles somehow

O: tasty brew and perfectly suited for warm-weather drinking; it's far from a lambic or wild ale, but there's just enough "beer" in it to keep it from tasting like a fruit soda; I'm not a big beer drinker with food, but I bet this would be perfect side-by-side with barbecue, Tex-Mex or something meaty and spicy

Nitro variety. On tap. Pours a well carbonated red color with a massive two finger head that sticks around and leaves an inch of lacing. Nose of raspberry and sour. Taste is a sweet and tart raspberry with a light, crisp finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. The nitro almost gives it the feel of a soda.
I think it's better on nitro than it is without the nitro. It was a bit sweet and I wouldn't have minded more tart. Fun summer/warm winter offering.

You can definitely taste the fruit, but it comes off as a great all day everyday beer. I can't say enough good things about this beer, but I'm drinking now and don't have the time!!

Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Red with an orange tinge and a lively light pink head. The aroma is raspberry as is the taste. There is considerable sweetness in the taste and a pleasant bit of sourness at the end. The body and carbonation are very nice.

Overall, this is a surprisingly good beer, and I enjoyed it more than expected. It's very heavy on raspberry and in a way doesn't resemble any other beer. I consider it a dessert beer and may be best enjoyed alone. Didn't find any food that it paired with. I'll get this one again even if it's not one of my regulars.
