A - Superb clear, golden body, white head pours moderately full but fades. The glass is coated with strings of lacing when finished.

S - Full of fruit. Apples, watermelon (of course), and a white wine aspect. Funk is mild, almost absent.

T - Follows the nose, but the watermelon comes forward. The wine aspect is more about the notes of wood, but there is a touch of grape, too. A bit sweet, but enough tartness in the finish to counterpoint.

M - Brisk. Enough acidity to clear the tongue after the slightly sticky open.

O - Lovely acidity and a solid range of flavor. The initial sweetness comes on strong, but is not enough to overpower the solid core. The watermelon floats over all, and unlike some versions, it drinks more as the fruit than a candy. Very nicely done.

On tap at founders. Gose is as far as I go on the sour thing. This one is excellent for my palate. Nicely tart, natural watermelon fills in nicely, plenty salty too. I couldn't drink multiples without getting dehydrated but it is s fun change of pace in a session. I'd buy a six if they bottled this

Taproom only. Great gose - plenty salty/savory, but for those who like to salt their watermelon this is about perfect. The watermelon comes across as natural, not artificial. Hope they put this into production.
